How cool is this? Last week I found out that How To Kill Men and Get Away With It is the lead title on Spotify’s Brat Girl Summer audiobook playlist. I love this because Kitty Collins, the antihero of my debut book, is very much Brat. Nothing demure about this girl.

For anyone who hasn’t read How To Kill Men yet, Kitty is a Chelsea-based Instagram influencer who becomes very bored with her life and finds that hunting and killing bad men – you know the kind, the ones who make the streets a scary place to be if you’re a woman – gives her a sense of purpose. It’s a dark comedy, with a very serious message at its core and a book that I’m extremely proud of.

There are some other great reads on the playlist too including My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite and, one of my personal favourites, Bunny by Mona Awad. If you’re yet to read either of these two, I definitely recommend. There are also books from my own TBR on here like Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder which I hear great things about all the time but haven’t got around to picking up myself just yet.

Summer, or what passed as summer, may be drawing to a close but I think this playlist is a great one to follow as we head into autumn. There’s something so comforting to me if I know I’ve got a list of great books to keep me company as the evenings start to draw in.

Watch out Brat Girl Summer, Cosy Reading Girl Autumn is coming for ya.

Let me know if you’ve read any of the books on the list and what you thought of them by messaging me on the Get In Touch form, or over on Instagram. Love to hear your thoughts!

                  Lots of love xxx
