Full Manuscript assessment

So, you’ve got a final draft that you’re actually happy with? Well done you! But before you start dipping your toes into the querying trenches – yes, this is a mixed metaphor but stay with me – you would like a fresh pair of eyes to go through it and provide some honest feedback. Well, I’m your woman. I’ll read your manuscript and write you a full report on it, what’s working, what’s maybe not working and what you can do to really nail it. I’ll also schedule a Zoom call so we can talk through the report, and you can ask me any questions you might have.

Cost for the manuscript assessment and Zoom call is £100 per 10,000 words.

Agent Submission Package Review

Omg, you’re ready to send your final manuscript out to agents. Look at you go! But before you do perhaps, you’d like a writing professional to take a look at your submission package. I’ll go through your query letter, your synopsis and the first three to five chapters of your manuscript to make sure you’ve really got your package nailed. You only get one chance to make a first impression after all. The cost for this service is £180.

One to one mentoring

Ah, accountability. It’s not easy being a writer, is it? You’re mostly doing it alone and the only person to keep you in check and make sure you’re getting those words on the page is…er…you. With a mentoring package, I will have regular Zoom check ins with you where I will probe you and challenge you. Sounds fun, right? I’ll also set you writing homework and deadlines which I’ll then review for you. A mentoring package is a great idea for any writer who struggles with accountability. Together we will push you through the writing process and get you to first draft stage.

Cost for a mentoring package is £1,000 for 12 sessions which you can spread for up to a year.

One off mentoring session

Maybe you don’t need me for regular check ins but would really like to have a chat about something that’s troubling you with your Work In Progress. Maybe you’re stuck on a plot point or perhaps your dialogue isn’t dialoguing? Whatever is irking you, we can talk it through. I’ll also read up to five chapters of your WIP. Cost for a one-off mentoring sesh is £150.
